America’s most famous race, the Kentucky Derby was held on May 1st. The 2021 Kentucky Derby was the 147th running of the Kentucky Derby. The field was open for 20 horses qualified for the race in the 2021 Road to the Kentucky Derby. The Kentucky Derby 2021 was won by trainer Bob Baffert’s Medina Spirit. It was Bob’s record seventh win in the race and the jockey John Velazquez’s 4th Derby Win.
