An unbelievable Ring by Apple’s head designer!

Apple’s chief designer Jony Ive designed a diamond ring made out of a single chunk of diamond. It is believed to sell for around $150,000 with the proceeds going to charity. Jony Ive is responsible for the materials of all apple products including iPhone, MacBook, iPad. Now he has teamed up with his friend, Marc Newson, to design a diamond ring made entirely out of a diamond.

To create a ring-shaped diamond is no small achievement. The diamond block will have several thousand facets and some of them are as small as several hundred micrometers. The inside ring will be cylindrically cut out to give the desired smoothness using a micrometer thick water jet inside which a laser beam is cast. The finished ring will have between 2000-3000 facets which have never been seen before on a single piece.

If you really want the diamond ring made out of diamond, the auction would start from December 5, 2018, in Miami. It is very important for you to know that this ring is made to fit up to a size 5.
